Back in November 2024, I tried something new: I announced I was offering custom songs.
Within a couple of days, I got my first request.
I’ve written custom songs before, as gifts or collaborations — but this was the first time someone paid for it. It felt like a real milestone.
✉️ A Message from Valencia
The request was from David — someone I met in Valencia during my European tour.
He messaged me on November 25. That day would’ve been his wife’s birthday. He told me that she passed away six years ago.
My heart sank. That’s such a sensitive request. But I was really moved that he trusted me with something so personal.
Here’s a little twist – David speaks Spanish. I explained that I only write in English and Russian. So we decided I’d write and sing the song in Russian, and I would add a Spanish translation.
David sent me a two-minute voice message in Spanish – a message to Cecilia, full of love and emotion.
It gave me goosebumps. That message became the foundation for the song.
🎶 The Challenge
It was a tricky request.
It was a birthday song (a joyful message in the song), but for a person who passed away (devastating emotion), the person wanted to share how much he loved her (happy message), but he also missed her terribly (sad feeling).
I must admit, I broke into tears a few times while brainstorming the ideas. It was so emotional. At last, I finished my first draft.
The first version of the lyrics had a bit of everything — joy, heartbreak, longing — but it felt a little too heavy. I didn’t want to weigh the song down with grief.
So I made a decision: let’s make it a tribute to love and life.
The final song still has a gentle touch of sadness, but it’s mostly uplifting. A celebration of love.
🎙️ Making It Extra Personal
I listened to the finished song, and something still felt missing…
And then it hit me: what if I add David’s voice? His original message was so beautiful — so I included part of it in the final track.
Oh my goodness, I loved it. It sounded so romantic and so extra touching.
When I listened back, I had tears in my eyes. It felt complete.
🎞️ The Visual Story
Initially, I meant to present the song to the customer as a live video of my performance. But it again didn’t feel right to me. I felt that there should be Cecilia in the video and not me.
David sent me a scanned photo of Cecilia — his favourite one. I added it, played around with effects, but nothing quite worked.
And then I thought — what if I bring the photo to life? I used AI to gently animate her, so it looked like she smiled into the camera. And honestly… it worked. It felt like she was there.
💬 David’s Response
When I sent it to David, this was part of what he wrote back:
“I imagined it to be beautiful, but it is much more. Your voice became the link between Cecilia’s love and mine… Without your voice, time and space would have faded our love into oblivion, but you made it shine in an immortal way.”
Reading that was such an emotional moment. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to create something so meaningful.
This project reminded me why I make music in the first place. To tell real stories. To connect people. And this custom song will always stay close to my heart.

В ноябре 2024 года я решила попробовать что-то новое: я объявила, что теперь пишу песни на заказ.
И уже через пару дней получила свой первый запрос.
Раньше я уже писала песни на заказ — в подарок или в рамках бесплатных коллабораций —
но это был мой первый платный заказ!
Для меня это было достижением 
Сообщение из Валенсии
Запрос пришёл от Давида — мы познакомились в Валенсии во время моего европейского тура.
Он написал мне 25 ноября что должен был быть день рождения его жены.
И добавил, что она ушла из жизни шесть лет назад.
У меня сжалось сердце. Это такая болезненная тема…
Но меня глубоко тронуло то, что он доверил мне такую личную историю.
Мы столкнулись с небольшой проблемой — Давид говорит только по-испански.
Я объяснила, что пишу песни только на английском и русском.
В итоге мы решили, что я напишу и исполню песню на русском языке,
а потом добавлю перевод на испанский.
Давид прислал мне двухминутное голосовое сообщение — послание для Сесилии, его жены, наполненное любовью и тоской.
Началась работа над песней.
Сложность
Запрос оказался очень непростым.
Это должна была быть песня ко дню рождения (радостное послание),
но для человека, которого уже нет (отчаяние).
Он хотел рассказать, как сильно он её любит (светлое чувство),
но при этом очень по ней скучал (боль утраты).
Признаюсь, несколько раз во время работы над песней я не могла сдержать слёз. Это было очень эмоциональной задачей.
Наконец, я закончила первый черновик.
В первом черновике смешались и радость, и боль, и тоска — всё сразу.
Мне показалось, что в песне было слишком много грусти.
Я не хотела погружать слушателя в тяжёлые чувства.
И тогда я решила: пусть это будет как посвящение любви и жизни.
Конечно, в финальной версии осталась тень грусти,
но в целом — это светлая и трепетная история любви.
Сделать по-настоящему личной
Когда песня была готова, мне всё равно чего-то не хватало…
И вдруг меня осенило: а что, если добавить голос Давида?
Его послание было таким красивым — я включила его фрагмент в финальную версию трека.
О! Это звучало романтично и невероятно трогательно.
Когда я переслушала, у меня снова навернулись слёзы.
Теперь всё стало на свои места.
Визуальная история
Изначально я собиралась просто записать видео с живым исполнением песни.
Но снова — что-то чувствовалось не так. Мне казалось, что в этом видео должна быть Сесилия, а не я.
Давид прислал отсканированную фотографию Сесилии — свою самую любимую.
Я добавила её, попробовала разные эффекты — но ничего не подходило.
И тогда я подумала: а что, если «оживить» фото?
С помощью AI я анимировала изображение так, что она как будто улыбнулась в камеру.
И знаете… получилось. Это выглядело так, будто она действительно была рядом.
Ответ Давида
Когда я отправила ему финальную версию, он написал:
“Я представлял, что это будет красиво, но оказалось гораздо больше.
Твой голос стал связующим звеном между моей любовью и любовью Сесилии…
Без твоего голоса, время и пространство стерли бы нашу любовь.
А ты заставила её сиять — вечно и бессмертно.”
Это был невероятно трогательный момент для меня.
Я так благодарна за возможность создать что-то настолько значимое.
Этот проект напомнил мне, зачем я вообще занимаюсь музыкой.
Чтобы рассказывать настоящие истории.
Чтобы объединять людей музыкой.
Эта песня – мой первый заказ – навсегда останется в моем сердце.
En Español
En noviembre de 2024, decidí probar algo nuevo: anuncié que empezaba a ofrecer canciones personalizadas.
En solo un par de días, recibí mi primer encargo.
Ya había escrito canciones personalizadas antes, como regalos o colaboraciones,
pero esta fue la primera vez que alguien pagó por ello. Fue un verdadero hito para mí.
✉️ Un mensaje desde Valencia
La solicitud fue de David, alguien a quien conocí en Valencia durante mi gira por Europa.
Me escribió el 25 de noviembre. Ese día habría sido el cumpleaños de su esposa.
Me contó que ella había fallecido hacía seis años.
Se me encogió el corazón. Era una petición muy delicada,
pero me conmovió profundamente que confiara en mí para algo tan personal.
Había un pequeño giro en la historia: David habla español.
Le expliqué que solo escribo canciones en inglés y ruso.
Así que decidimos que yo escribiría e interpretaría la canción en ruso,
y luego agregaríamos una traducción al español.
David me envió un mensaje de voz de dos minutos en español —
un mensaje para Cecilia, lleno de amor y emoción.
Se me puso la piel de gallina. Ese mensaje se convirtió en la base de la canción.
🎶 El desafío
Fue una petición complicada.
Era una canción de cumpleaños (un mensaje alegre),
pero para una persona que ya no está (una emoción devastadora).
Él quería expresar cuánto la amaba (un mensaje feliz),
pero también cuánto la extrañaba (un sentimiento muy triste).
Debo admitir que rompí en llanto varias veces mientras pensaba en ideas.
Fue muy emocional. Finalmente, terminé el primer borrador.
La primera versión de la letra lo tenía todo: alegría, tristeza, nostalgia…
pero me pareció demasiado pesada.
No quería que la canción estuviera tan cargada de dolor.
Así que tomé una decisión: que fuera un homenaje a la vida y al amor.
La versión final aún tiene un toque sutil de tristeza,
pero en su mayoría es luminosa. Una celebración del amor.
🎙️ Hacerla aún más personal
Escuché la canción terminada… y sentí que aún faltaba algo.
Y entonces se me ocurrió: ¿y si incluyo la voz de David?
Su mensaje original era tan hermoso,
que decidí incorporar una parte de él en la grabación final.
Dios mío, me encantó. Sonaba tan romántico y conmovedor.
Cuando la volví a escuchar, se me llenaron los ojos de lágrimas.
Ahora sí se sentía completa.
🎞️ La historia visual
En un principio, pensaba entregar la canción como un video con mi interpretación en vivo.
Pero de nuevo… algo no me cuadraba.
Sentía que en el video debía estar Cecilia, no yo.
David me mandó una foto escaneada de Cecilia — su favorita.
La añadí al video, probé con algunos efectos… pero nada me convencía.
Entonces pensé: ¿y si doy vida a la foto?
Usé inteligencia artificial para animarla suavemente,
y lograr que sonriera mirando a la cámara.
Y sinceramente… funcionó. Se sentía como si ella estuviera allí.
💬 La respuesta de David
Cuando le envié el resultado, esto fue parte de lo que me escribió:
“
Lo imaginaba bonito, pero es mucho más, se nota tu alma en este trabajo
Hiciste lo que soñaba, tu voz, la foto, es realmente hermoso
Las lágrimas me recorren sin parar
Tu voz se convirtió en el nexo entre el amor de Cecilia y yo, creando el vínculo más allá de los sentimientos terrenales
Sin tu voz, el espacio y el tiempo, hubieran dejado que el olvido siguiera a la muerte de un amor, y vos lo hiciste brillar de la manera inmortal, imperecedera.
Ojalá puedas hacer muchas más, y puedas trasmitir ese bello interior que tenés con mucha más gente
”
Leer eso fue un momento profundamente emotivo.
Estoy tan agradecida por haber tenido la oportunidad de crear algo tan significativo.
Este proyecto me recordó por qué hago música.
Para contar historias reales. Para conectar personas.
Y esta canción personalizada siempre tendrá un lugar especial en mi corazón.
